What happens when the Zionist mind collides with Cold Hard Reality?
Over the past five months of writing about Israel’s genocide in Gaza I’ve heard all manner of Zionazi arguments in the comments section on Medium, from the feigned moderate to the unabashed fundamentalist.
Across the board, and almost without fail, the “arguments” provided by Israel’s allies and devotees have been some of the most absurd and solipsistic hysteria I’ve ever read.
Engaging with the deluge of lies, delusion and tantrums has been, as per the now infamous internet lexicon, “like trying to play chess with a pigeon. At some point, it will knock over the pieces, shit all over the board and then strut around like it won the game."
I’m going to dig into all that in a minute. But before I do, I want to preface this by acknowledging that of course social media is not the ideal place for rational discussion about any contentious subject. Especially something like Israel-Palestine.
And of course I’m aware that the waters of the discussion are being intentionally muddied by hasbara bots and zombies attempting to astroturf the world into thinking that black is white.
