Israel, I’ll say it as clear as I can: the world was appalled by what happened on October 7th. You were unable to defend yourselves and the worst act of violence since the Holocaust was perpetrated on Jews by Hamas.
Leaders and nations all over the world expressed solidarity with Israel. There were headlines and newspaper columns and speeches.
But then you decided to take “revenge”. You claimed Hamas was everywhere in Gaza and so, consequently, you would have to flatten the place — and the people in it. To do this, you fabricated stories about 40 beheaded babies and sexual violence (every report of sexual violence has been a second or third-hand suggestion), and you invented majestic, massive military complexes under hospitals.
Your actions since October 7th have completely outweighed the horrors of October. Let me explain:
- If you have the power to turn off your enemy’s food, water, and electricity — and attack them at your leisure — then you are the baddies.
- If you are the only country in the world to systematically prosecute your enemy’s children in military courts and imprison them — you are the baddies.
- If there is a proven track record of you physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually abusing your enemies children in your prisons — then you are the baddies.
- If you regularly “mow the grass” by killing Palestinians because you have superior firepower and control over them — you are the baddies.
- If you kill more journalists in 4 months than in any other conflict in recorded history — you are the baddies.
- If you tell civilians to move their families to safe zones, only to bomb those same safe zones and shoot them as they leave on foot — then you are the baddies.
- If you are so determined to kill every Palestinian you see that you’re prepared to shoot your own hostages in your blood lust — you are the baddies.
- If you drop thousands of tons of “dumb bombs” and white phosphorus on the citizens of a small strip of land whose borders you control — then you are the baddies.
- If your president, prime minister, minister for defence, agricultural minister, various MPs and journalists all explicitly call for the mass killing and ethnic cleansing of a country — then you are the baddies.
- If your people continue to steal homes and land from Palestinians (often aided and abetted by the military and police) — then you are the baddies.
- If you repeatedly resort to lies and disinformation to justify the unjustifiable and defend the indefensible — then you are the baddies.
- If you repeatedly insist that 2.3 million people raise their children to die, and that every child from the moment they’re born is a terrorist that needs to be eliminated — then you are the baddies.
- If your soldiers and administration continue to ransack and pillage Palestinian property and banks — then you are the baddies.
I could go on, but I think the point is pretty clear. Israel is today’s Nazi Germany, Zionism is Nazism by another name. There is a putrid, poisonous culture of hate and racism in Israel that needs to be challenged. But that will take time.
What we can do in the more immediate future is charge individuals and place sanctions. They say “The fish stinks from the head”, and almost the entire cabinet stinks and deserves to be in Nuremberg-style trials. Stood in the docks in handcuffs, while the world watches them squirm.

As for all the Israeli apologists who will flood my comments as they have done so far: no amount of your whataboutery, sophistry, dishonesty and insanity can detract from the facts listed above — and they are facts.
No doubt it will cause significant cognitive dissonance for your little genocidal heads, but the world does not owe you anything. Except, perhaps, disdain.
